Where the Internet Lives

Where the Internet Lives is a podcast created by the team at Google about the world of data centers. Each episode explores the technology, people, and places that make the internet run.

The team at Modicum was tasked with creating the hero artwork that would be used on podcast platforms, websites, and banner ads. Moodboards were made to get a sense of the Google team’s visual direction. Multiple design directions were presented and iterated on, exploring themes such as cartography, technology, and discovery. Static and animated versions of the artwork were created in various sizes and aspect ratios.
