Made by Google Hardware Launch

The Made by Google team held a live press event to launch their third-generation of hardware offerings. The Modicum team was charged with designing on-screen graphics to show off the new devices and features. I led the design of the flagship section of the show announcing the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

A beautiful, super-wide screen was used to display graphics behind the speakers at the event. Product features such as Top Shot, Super Res Zoom, and Group Selfie were disembodied from phone shells to fill the screen and maximize visual impact.

A combination of product photography and animation helped communicate the benefits of Google’s approach to marrying AI, software, and hardware. To date, the product launch has been viewed nearly 2 million times on YouTube.
